The Wax Trax! Ltd. Edition Box Set
This limited edition metal box set contained a bed of loose cassette tape that the advertising called “outtakes”.
I took on the painful task of actually winding this onto an empty cassette tape to see what was really on this bed of “outtakes”.

These versions are the exact same versions that appear on the CD’s of the box set- my conclusion is that Wax Trax! planned on making a cassette tape version of the collection but as this was around the same time most labels were putting the stop to cassette versions of their catalogue... the tapes were chopped up and stuffed in the limited edition box sets.
I’ve included mp3’s of my tape in all it’s lo-fi craptastic glory.
